7wks6dy -- A healthy growing baby!

Our u/s today went GREAT!!

We've got a 1.5cm baby and a heart rate of 162 (all right on target). And we actually got to see the umbilical cord.

**In the picture to the left...the baby's head is on top (it's facing the left). The white dot where you think the tummy should be is the heart. And the thicker line from the baby to the sac wall is the umbilical cord!**

Dr. S has released me to my OB and said that a great u/s like we had today is just like making it to 12wks. He said now we have less than a 3% chance of a m/c. He was even talking to us about our totcyles and what to do when we are ready for the next baby! He's so great!

He said if we want another baby for sure...we should do our FET soon after delivery of this baby, just in case it doesn't work out and we need to start w/ fresh cycles. But, he did say we have over a 50% chance of an FET working since we have 2 blastocysts frozen on day6. But, if we are not absolute about having another child...we can do an FET whenever since the quality is based on the age I am when it was conceived. How cool to think our babies possible sibling was conceived on the same day (Brad's 35th birthday).

Life is good...and I'm enjoying every second of this morning sickness . :)
