OBVIOUSLY it's been awhile!
Our little miracle, Max just turned 9months! So...I guess it's been awhile since I've blogged!
I pretty much stopped blogging last February when I started Max's babysite. But, I've decided that once he turns 1 I am going to get a CD made of the site and then let it go. It's really a lot of work to keep up with and with him recently learning how to crawl...I will have less and less time to keep it up. Blogging seems a little more practical.
Anyways, life is great! Max and I have a really great routine down and I can pretty much count on it, so it makes planning our days out pretty easy for the most part.
Up at 7am
Breakfast around 8am
1st nap at 9am - 11am
Lunch around 11:30am
2nd nap at 1pm - 2/3pm
Dinner at 4pm
Bed between 6 - 6:30pm
Max goes down like a pro. I just give him his pacifier, hug him tight and tell him I love him and that I'll see him when he wakes up, put him in his crib, and give him his blanket and he doesn't even wimper anymore. He doesn't always fall asleep immediately...sometimes I'll see him (from our baby monitor) playing w/ his feet or blanket for awhile, but he usually falls asleep within 5-10 minutes.
In between the gaps we run errands, I'll give him a bath, and we'll play.
I've absolutely loved being home with him and can't imagine having to leave him to go to work! His little personality emerges more and more each day and I'm very excited for the fun we are going to have this spring and summer.
I just offiically weaned Max from breastfeeding. It was hard on me...but he didn't skip a beat. I would have kept on longer, but we are preparing to do our Frozen cycle. We've got 2 little frozen embryos waiting for us and Dr. Stassart told us we have to be completely done with breastfeeding before we can go forward. Since breastfeeding causes contractions, they don't want to risk a potential problem implanting due to it. Soooo...now we wait for my cycle to start and then we can go and meet with the Dr and get the ball moving. I think I may have just ovulated, so we'll see if AF shows around the 23rd or so.
Well, for some reason I didn't sleep very well last night, so since Max is napping...I'm going to take a little cat nap myself. If we get lucky with another one...I'll lose those napping opportunities for a long time! :)
Love,
Mama J
